Urmi Chanda, Psychologist, Indologist & Interfaith Researcher
Urmi is a peacebuilder and also a culturalist, who writes and researches in the realms of Indian history and culture with a special focus on religion and mythology. She has been a journalist for over 13 years and writes independently for some of the most prestigious publications including The Wire, Scroll, Quint, Outlook, Mint, Mirror, etc. She has been a researcher for non-fiction TV shows, has given talks on various platforms, including TEDx, and has been a knowledge consultant for many other cultural projects involving curation, translation, and content creation. She has experience in the museum and non-profit sectors too, placing her at the intersection of journalism, academics and activism.
