Tutankhamun with Dan Snow
Produced by Voltage TV for Channel 5, Past Preservers provided Expert Egyptologist Dr Arto Belekdanian
Dan Snow, together with archaeologist Raksha Dave and journalist and comedy Strictly contestant John Sergeant, take us on a three-night journey into the story of the last days of the Egyptian boy-king and the discovery of his tomb by Howard Carter, some 3,000 years later, in November 1922. They’ve got access to the labs of the new Grand Egyptian Museum, where many finds not seen before in public are being restored, as well as rare excavation sites. They’re also using science – including some clever CT scans – to learn more about the pharaoh’s life and death.
