Tricia Coletto, Field Archaeologist
Tricia is an archaeologist and researcher specializing in ancient Egypt. Since earning her M A in Archaeology and Heritage Management from the University of Exeter, Tricia has gained extensive experience as a field archaeologist working in both Israel and Egypt. As a current team member of the Gebel el-Silsila Project in Egypt, her work focuses on excavation, artifact research and analysis, site documentation, and preservation of the site’s New Kingdom Necropolis.
In concert with her archaeological philosophy, Tricia believes that her work and that of her colleagues does not belong solely cloistered in the ivory towers of academia, but should be disseminated to the greater world. She believes that through archaeology we open a door and get a glimpse of the ancient past , the shared past of all humanity.
