“I am avid lover of Nature and the Outdoors. My current research is looking at the relationship between past societies and the current Ecological crisis; its origins and why past warning signs were not heeded or recognised, and what past societies did to their environment which may have hastened or caused the demise of that society. Conversely, I am also exploring the role of indigenous and past knowledge in protecting the Environment. and why it has been mostly lost or ignored, even though it may offer part of the solution. My Field work includes Wildlife and Botanical inventories, monitoring the effects of pollution and overpopulation.”
