Holly Swinyard is a pop culture writer with a love for telling stories. They have worked on gaming projects such as board games, chose your own adventure games, TTRPGs and indie video games; written for national publications including PLAY magazine, The Guardian and Marvel UK; and have worked with the BBC and Channel 4 discussing pop-culture, costume and gender. Outside of writing, Holly works as an LGBTQIA+ educator as well as being an all-round pop culture enthusiast speaking at events and presenting/researching podcast I’m A Fan of That. Their book, “A History of Fans and Fandom” was published Spring 2024.
