Dr Kyle A. Thomas, Theatre Historian & Actor

Kyle is a theatre historian, actor, & director. He specializes in premodern theatre history, performance techniques for historical plays, and scholarly analysis of performance across historical contexts. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Theatre at Missouri State University & is Editor-in-Chief of the international journal, ROMARD: Research on Medieval and Renaissance Drama. Kyle has directed acclaimed productions of historical plays like the Jeu d’Adam for the Met Cloisters (NYC) and the Ludus de Antichristo at the University of Illinois.
