Dr Khalil Thirlaway is an immunologist, science communicator and performer engaging audiences across a range of media including video, podcasts, standup comedy and writing. Since gaining his PhD researching immunology and plant-based medicine at the University of Nottingham, Khalil has spent a decade expanding his scientific expertise producing exhibitions, events and online content at London’s Science Museum and Natural History Museum. As a queer, neurodivergent person of Palestinian, Brazilian and British descent, Khalil is passionate about highlighting neglected stories of marginalised communities and the sociopolitical context of science.
