Dr Kevin Dicus, Archaeologist
“I am a specialist in the archaeology of the ancient Roman world. I received my PhD in classical archaeology at the University of Michigan (2012). Since 1999 I have conducted fieldwork at numerous Italian sites including Pompeii. I have presented in many programs for the BBC, National Geographic Channel, Smithsonian Channel, and PBS. While I enjoy academic research, my true pleasure lies in communicating recent advances in archaeology to the general public, those who do not have access to and would not read academic journals but still have a deep interest in the past.”
