Jasmine is a cultural anthropologist and Egyptologist, a world expert on Egyptian mummies in popular culture and museums and author of “The Mummy’s Curse: Mummymania in the English-speaking World” She has lectured and published worldwide on such subjects as Victorian mummy fiction and poetry, classic mummy horror films and the ethics of mummy exhibition, including at the International Congress on Mummy Studies.
