Dr Dominic Selwood, Author, Historian & Barrister

Dominic Selwood FSA FRSA FRHistS (born 1970) is an English historian, author, journalist and barrister. He has written several works of history, historical fiction and historical thrillers, most notably The Sword of Moses. and Anatomy of a Nation. A History of British Identity in 50 Documents. His background is in medieval history. Dominic is a frequent public speaker, He has lectured and chaired events at the British Museum and British Library, and debated Stephen Fry at the Oxford Union. He has written over 300 history pieces for the Telegraph, Spectator, Independent, New Statesman, etc.. He was also a former criminal barrister, with experience of murder and serious crimes.
