Dr Amy Calvert, Egyptologist & Art Historian

Amy Calvert is an Egyptologist who holds a PhD from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. She received her BA in Classical Archaeology from Florida State University and went on to earn an MA at the Institute of Egyptian Art and Archaeology of the University of Memphis with an award-winning thesis examining the elaborate scenes on the chariot body found in the tomb of Thutmosis IV. Amy has been involved in several excavations in Italy, Egypt, and the United States, and she has also worked at several major museums, including The British Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
