Christine Cleary, Maritime Archaeologist & Stunt Performer

“I am a stunt performer/stunt rigger, a diver, and a history nerd, currently pursuing a dual career in maritime archaeology. I am deeply passionate about bringing history to life. One of my greatest joys is researching and synthesizing information in a way that is intelligible for any audience. I recently dug in to the maritime aspect of the 17th century Anglo-Dutch Wars, found a secret treaty housed in the British Library Archives, and received an enthusiastic response to a presentation of my findings. In addition to my physical pursuits, I am researching for a book that I am writing on the history of Toronto stunts.”
