“I am an actor and academic of Indian/Pakistani and Irish/English heritage, as a child having lived in India at the Himalayan foothills and attending the local village school run by a Yogi who taught me yoga at an early age. My grandfather was chief engineer in Iraq, assisting with excavations across the country, and my father was an avid historian of Mesopotamia. I am passionate about under-represented histories across the world and ancient languages, having taught myself Middle Egyptian and basic Ancient Greek. I am also interested in ancient military history and tactics, historical martial arts and ancient lifeways more in-tune with nature.”
