As an organization we acknowledge the systemic barriers faced by non-white, female identifying, queer, and persons with disabilities in both of these fields. Past Preservers believes both academia and the media are enhanced by just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive work spaces. We, therefore, strive to cultivate the media presence of a wide range of scholars as an act of resistance against traditional expectations of academic presenters. We are also striving to partner with an array of professional organizations worldwide which represent diverse historians, archeologists, anthropologists and scientists to further enhance our presenter database.”
