Sam Wilson, Battlefield Archaeologist

Sam is an Archaeological Project Supervisor with a passion for Battlefield Archaeology and Military History. His work has taken him to some of the most iconic sites in British and European Military History, including Bosworth and Waterloo. He is passionate about revealing the experiences of the individuals caught up in conflict which archaeology has the power to reveal in an unprecedented detail. He enjoys engaging the public, encouraging interest in the military past and is passionate about the way archaeology can help veterans in rehabilitation.
