Past Preservers assists Factum Arte with the replica of Tutankhamun's Tomb

The experts at the Madrid-based workshop, Factum Arte have successfully exhibited the facsimile of Tutankhamun’s tomb at the Conrad hotel in Cairo as a part of an EU and Egyptian summit meeting.

The Past Preservers office in Cairo was on hand to provided the team with logistical support during this extremely complicated and demanding build.

On the 13thof November, the replica was unveiled by the EU High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission H.E. Mrs Catherine Ashton and the Minister of Tourism of the Arab Republic of Egypt H.E. Mr Mohamed Hisham Zzzou in the presence of the world’s media.

Nigel J. Hetherington, the founder and owner of Past Preservers said “We are extremely proud to assist Factum Arte and its Founder Adam Lowe in some small way to brining his dreams to reality”

following the exhibition at the hotel Conrad, the replica will be de-installed and stored until its permanent location in Egypt has been decided.
