London New York & Cairo – 25 November 2013 – We are happy to announce that celebrated anthropologist and archaeologist Dr. Alexei Vranich is Past Preservers’ latest signing.
Alexei received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and has been working in South America since 1995. He has extensive research experience around the world in such places as Spain, Italy, India, Peru, and Bulgaria, and Costa Rica. He has been recognized by the National Science Foundation for the innovation application of technology in the study of the past.
He has bridged the divide between academic and popular archaeology through appearances on television and on the radio and in magazines such as National Geographic, The Sciences, and Archaeology Magazine, in addition to a variety of national and international newspapers. He has hosted a pilot for Discovery Channel and has appeared in such programs as the Lost Kingdoms of South America for the BBC, The Ancient Life and Brew Masters, both for the Discovery Channel.
Alongside all of his projects, Alexei is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA where he is conducting his archaeological research.
“Through Past Preservers,” Alexei says, “I hope to have more opportunities to work with production companies dedicated to presenting the real story of archaeology.”
Dr. Alexei is joining our presenters that make up Past Preservers People, a boutique, full service talent management agency which represents experts in their fields from around the globe. The company is built around a small but diverse group of individuals that shares the passion and drive necessary for success in the highly competitive television and film industries.
